About the Company

Svaim, built by Svasthiya Technologies, is a digital health platform that gives patients ownership of their radiology reports - making them accessible anytime, anywhere, and across multiple healthcare ecosystems. In a country where medical records are still largely fragmented across hospitals, labs, and personal storage, Svaim's mission is to put a clean, durable, patient-first record layer in the hands of users themselves.

Tequity has been Svaim's product partner from initial workshops through the launch of v1 of the patient mobile app on the App Store and Play Store.

The Challenge

A patient-first health records app has to be both clinically rigorous and consumer-quality:

  • Greenfield product, ambitious scope: Workshops, IA, design, and build all had to happen in fast iteration loops.
  • Mobile-first medical records: Reviewing radiology records on a phone is a hard UX problem. The app had to make it intuitive without compromising clinical fidelity.
  • Cross-ecosystem connectivity: Records had to flow in and out of multiple healthcare ecosystems, not exist in a closed silo.
  • Layered surfaces: A patient app, a marketing website, and a future web app all had to come together cohesively.

Solution Implemented by Tequity

Tequity ran the engagement end-to-end across product, design, and engineering, with dedicated leads on each layer of the product surface.

Discovery and Foundation:

  • UX workshops to align on business goals, user needs, and product strategy.
  • Competitor research to inform design decisions.
  • Reworked information architecture for improved usability.
  • Defined feature scope and designed wireframes for major flows.

Patient Mobile App - v1:

  • Designs for new features including Appointments, Medical History, and SOS Emergency.
  • Intuitive UI for reviewing medical records on mobile, including a redesigned View Records section.
  • Design system for the patient app and screens for Onboarding, Account creation, Payment history, and Notifications.
  • Final v1 designs handed over for development.
  • Full QC and quality assurance prior to release.
  • App now live on the App Store and Play Store.

Marketing Website:

  • Designed and built the Svaim website on Webflow in 1 week, live at www.svasthiya.in.
  • Structured as a starter site with planned expansion to additional sections and pages.

v2 Web App:

  • Heuristic audit of existing surfaces with severity-rated findings.
  • Information architecture mapping and updated user flows for the web app.
  • UX wireframes for the web app underway.

Results

The Svaim digital footprint went live and immediately picked up traction:

  • 5,000+ visitors to the Svaim website in the first month post-launch
  • Live on the App Store and Play Store for the patient mobile app
  • Webflow website designed, built, and shipped in 1 week
  • v2 web app design in active progress
