About the Company

Stacked Health is a US-based proactive blood-test subscription service designed to help users reach peak health. Rather than waiting for problems to surface, Stacked offers regular testing, clear insights against test results, an action layer that turns insights into next steps, progress tracking, and AI-driven guidance to help users improve their health over time.

The Stacked Health team partnered with Tequity to lead the UI/UX engagement - taking the product from concept through to a complete consumer MVP design, alongside a launch-ready marketing website.

The Challenge

Designing a consumer health product with a strong AI guidance layer comes with a specific set of design problems:

  • Communicating health data with clarity: Blood-test results are dense and easy to mis-interpret. The product had to make them legible, contextual, and motivating - not alarming.
  • Branding-led product: Stacked has a strong brand voice and the product had to inherit and extend it without losing the clinical credibility users would expect.
  • Two surfaces, one feel: The marketing site and the product needed to share a coherent visual and narrative system.
  • Action-oriented design: The product is built around helping users do something with their data. The design had to bias users toward action rather than passive observation.
  • Speed to MVP: The team needed to move quickly through discovery, conceptualization, and into a complete MVP design.

Solution Implemented by Tequity

Tequity ran the Stacked Health engagement as a focused UI/UX partnership, with a dedicated product designer team.

Discovery and Branding:

  • Onboarding conversations with the Stacked team to align on positioning, audience, and product priorities.
  • Adoption of the Stacked branding into the product design language, while exploring different UI styles to find the right balance of clinical and consumer.

Marketing Website:

  • Designed a clean three-page Stacked Health website to act as the public-facing front door.

Product Conceptualization:

  • Wireframed the core product structure, with a focus on data visualization for blood-test results.
  • Built the key user flows - tracking results over time and unlocking actionable next steps for users to improve their health.
  • Designed AI-guided insights and recommendations as a first-class part of the experience.

MVP Design Closure:

  • Worked through review sessions with the Stacked team to refine and lock the design system.
  • Completed the full MVP design for the end consumer, ready for build and rollout.
